It's seriously tempting. PC World has its sale on today and I'm contemplating throwing away my sense of financial prudence and buying an Apple Macintosh computer. Why, because it's fast, pretty and less likely, perhaps to become a casualty of war than Windows might in 2005.

I'm only speculating of course but I'm more likely to be a little more secure under OSX and it does appear to be pretty robust according to the reviews. The downside in financial terms lies with the subsequent cost in hardware and software and effort of moving onto a new platform. Do I need the hassle, I'm not so sure. Maybe I've made up my mind writing this journal entry.
