Government turns to e-mail group to attack Al-Hussayen

Prosecutors used an Internet e-mail group on Monday to back charges that Sami Omar Al-Hussayen used his computer skills to foster terrorism, but the judge limited the group information that can be used against the University of Idaho graduate student.



The 34-year-old Saudi national is charged with turning the Web site of the Islamic Assembly of North America into a platform for an Internet network that allegedly supported the financing and recruiting of terrorists. He is also charged with visa fraud and making false statements for alleging covering up his association with the assembly.
